I'm a little bit of a Carrie....

So to me the most important part of my wedding outfit will be my shoes. I don't know if I've mentioned it before but I adore shoes! I have an extensive collection and it keeps getting bigger. I am, however, very picky. Some people will just buy anything they see so they can say they have "so many pairs of shoes!". Not me. Granted I do have A LOT of pairs but it is a very select collection, they are all the highest quality and 95% are worn regularly.

In saying that, the search for my bridal shoes (I use the term loosely as what I want really doesn't fit the stereotypical meaning of the word 'bridal') began long before I became engaged. Most 'bridal' shoes are hideous! I discovered this years ago when my older sister was getting married and as her maid of honour, we spent hours, days, weeks and eventually months, searching for her shoes. The shoes she ended up with were very nice and suited her but were still old school- low heeled, plain cream satin with an ankle strap. She has a very classic style. I on the other hand, do not. I must have the highest heel I can! I must be bright and showy! I do classic in my clothing but my shoes are ALWAYS the life of the party!

Keep in mind the following selection of shoes were found before we selected the colour scheme for our wedding but I just love the alternative colours so much I have to include them! My dress falls just below the knee so I can show case whatever shoes I choose.

I love the ankle straps!

The 50s style is a fave! The bows are delicious!
And the colour would stop traffic!

I have to say I LOVE THESE! Despite being white
the veil motif is so funky. A definate possibility.
Words cannot describe the squeal of joy when
I found these! But it gets better....Then I found......

THESE! The colour is perfect! The style is perfect!
They a perfect! *sigh*

So you tell me peeps. What would be your perfect wedding shoe? I've shown you mine :)
